Thank you for posting this. we played this at my little brothers funeral, today, he was a 20 yr old Marine and this was one of his favorite songs.

This is really good, and this is my favorite song. I couldn’t ever find any of the acoustic versions, so thanks for putting this up.

@mcslats Glad you like it! Actually, this does have meaning. This song tells a story about a brilliant and battle-torn general who has a dream in which he realizes the futility of war. He then attempts to persuade his men that they do not have to participate in the battle, but that he would fulfill the job he had sworn to do. He wants them to leave and live a full life, but none of his men will leave him.

All who have watched this video and not pressed the like button made a huge mistake and need to go take a shower and shine their shoes better.
