Luban is one of the clearest thinkers on why torture is wrong. He has an excellent law review article in which he deconstructs the ticking time bomb argument which underpins our torture regime, and shows how it is clearly a slippery slope to greater and greater abuse. Google his name and get the law review article with “time bomb” in the title, or I also have a link to it in a torure video I did on my page. Thanks for posting this.
